Want a quick way to join a group or find a friend on ALLY?
Did you know that all groups, channels and users all have a unique QR Code?
Group QR codes can be found in the group info and your user QR code can be found on your profile page.
Simply scan a QR code in the app and you will be brought to the group/channel or the user’s profile.
To get to the scanner:
- Open the app
- Click on “Contacts” in the bottom bar
- Click on the “Add Contact” icon in the top right of the page
- Click on “Scan QR Code”
From there you can either scan the QR code or upload a photo of the QR code.
You can also get to the scanner by:
- Open the app
- Click on “Discover” in the bottom bar
- Click on the “Scanner” icon in the top right corner of the page
After you scan the QR code, you can easily join a group or add a user to your contacts.
