[Convo with an Emerging Entrepreneur]

Perspective Client: Allyson, I want to make $125,000 this year.

Me: Uhmmm… Can we do that in the next 90-days and take the rest of the year off?

Being a freelancer or solopreneur can be so rewarding. Everyone doesn’t want a multi-million dollar business and that’s okay.

Here’s my thoughts on the subject:

* Rewire your conversation around money and wealth. Don’t dare slow it down to 12-months to create it. That’s small thinking and safe living.

* Design a business around the LIFESTYLE you want.

* Ensure you can tithe/give altruistically as you desire.

* Make a difference in the world by giving back with time and energy.

* Don’t get caught up in the hype of doing “what you love”… sometimes what pays the bills is what you’re good at and then you can take time for what you love.

I’m an abnormal teacher. I teach against the grain because normal has never worked for me and I don’t think it has to work for you. I am the chic that stands on #beunapologetic as my mantra for a reason.
