Festival Innovation: User Authentication & Exclusive Sponsor Rewards

Aloompa was presented with the opportunity to work with a major credit card brand and one of the premier festivals in the United States. The goal of the partnership was to create a state of the art program that surprised and delighted the credit card members with exclusive offers and prizes.
HOW WE DID IT
- Aloompa worked with the collective marketing teams to create a native in-app experience for card members. During app on-boarding, all users were presented with the opportunity to sign in to their credit card account.
- Once authenticated, the the credit card member was granted a member specific redemption ID and had access to a unique inbox.
- Using proximity technology and hundreds of beacons deployed on-site, Aloompa delivered exclusive offers to credit card member based on a variety of segment options, including time of day, attendee location, and total prizes available.
THE RESULTS
With thousands of user authentications at the festival, it was easy to call this integration a success. Aloompa’s technology was able to deliver hundreds of prizes to thousands of card members throughout the festival. Using a large amount of card member sightings, we were able to provide the brand with valuable behavioral and engagement insights on their participating card members comprehensive festival experiences.
This is just the beginning for enhanced segmentation capabilities within the Aloompa platform. We are currently developing more innovative sponsorship opportunities for all clients and brands.
