Announcing Alpies Sale Structure On ETH — Whitelist and Lottery
Dear Alpacas,
The 5000 Dauntless Alpies successfully sold out less than 1 minute after hitting the floor price of 1 BNB. With the Dutch auction, the average selling price was 1.42 BNB =~ 675 USD =~ .166 ETH at today’s prices.
As we prepare for the sale of our Dreamer Alpies collection on Ethereum, we want to share the sale structure and timeline with you.
Since the sale structure on Ethereum will be an increasing-price format, we will also introduce a Whitelist process to ensure our community members are given the highest priority in the sale. Before we go into details on the Whitelist, let us give a bit more info on the Dreamer Alpies, which will be sold on Ethereum.
The Dreamers
The Dreamer Alpies will have many exclusive features not shared by the Dauntless Alpies that sold out on BNB Chain. These features will be more light-themed with their own unique styles.
For the upcoming game, the Dreamer Alpies will have 5 unique classes, exclusive to only the Dreamer Alpies. Each of these classes will have its own individual playstyle and specific role within the game. Although the Dreamers will be more righteous, or what some may call Order-Good, you should never underestimate their ability to defeat enemies and charm mothers-in-law.
In order to play the game, you will need a team of 3 Alpies. The team can be made up of any combination of Dreamer and/or Dauntless Alpies though, so you don’t need to worry if you plan to own Alpies on both ETH and BNB Chain. All Alpies will be bridgeable between the two networks and will be generally interchangeable for all purposes besides their playstyles within the game.

Now, let’s discuss the sale structure for the Dreamers on Ethereum, including the Whitelist and Lottery. We’ll be allocating a total of 2500 out of the 5000 Dreamers to Whitelist spots.
- 1500 of those will go to Alpaca Finance users in our Herd.
- 500 will go to a public lottery, which anyone can enter, and finally;
- 500(may not use all) will be reserved for partnership groups for promotional purposes.
As you can see, most of the Whitelist spots will go to our users, many of whom have asked us if the prior Alpaca NFTs they own will have any utility and now, they have their answer — this is the first utility case for Alpaca Finance’s NFTs!

Wallets holding Alpaca NFTs at 12PM UTC on October 18th (A snapshot has already been taken, so NFTs minted or transferred to new wallets after that will not count).
For those who are wondering, the wallet address for BNB Chain & ETH is the same. So if you held an Alpaca NFT in your BNB Chain wallet and win a Whitelist spot, your same address will be eligible to mint a Dreamer NFT on the Ethereum network. Just make sure you have enough ETH in that wallet on the Ethereum network. You can transfer funds to your Ethereum wallet using any CEX or the Binance Bridge.
The total number of lottery tickets you receive will be based on the type and the total number of NFTs you hold.

- Wednesday, 27th October at 11.59 PM UTC: If you would like to submit your qualified wallets (that held Alpaca NFTs during the snapshot) into this lottery pool, you must submit your wallet addresses in this form by the aforementioned time.

(If you did not hold any Alpaca NFT at the snapshot date, you will not be eligible for this lottery but you can still enter the public lottery.) - Thursday, 28th October: We will publish the list of qualified wallets and total number of their ticket entries. Some hours later, we’ll perform the drawing of lucky winners on-chain to ensure fairness, after which we’ll announce the winners.
- Friday, 29th October at 11.59 PM UTC: If you are selected in the lottery, you’ll have to transfer the minting cost (at the discounted Whitelist price) of the Dreamer NFTs you won allocation for to the address we’ll specify. You will have to make this transfer before the aforementioned time and from your whitelisted wallet address. Any whitelisted Alpies that are not paid for before the cutoff time will go to public sale, and your will lose your Whitelist allocation.
- Tuesday, 2nd November at 2.00 PM UTC: The Public Sale of the Dreamer Alpies will start, and you will be able to claim your Whitelist Alpie at alpies.alpacafinance.org by connecting your whitelisted wallet on the site.
