Real Estate Crowdfunding is democratizing access to the CRE asset class for investors, and is helping developers find creative ways to finance deals. In the attached landscape, I analyze 22 crowdfunding platforms and bucket them into three groups. In my rough estimation, here are a few U.S. statistics:

• 16,000+ transactions done via Crowdfunding platforms
• $650M+ of Venture Capital invested into Crowdfunding platforms (does not include debt funding)
