Amazon is seeking a digital currency and blockchain expert for its payments team, according to a recent job posting. In order to develop Amazon’s digital currency and blockchain strategy and product roadmap, the company is seeking an “experienced product leader.”
Bitcoin is expected to bring about world peace according to Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey. Tech-crunch reports that Dorsey told investors on Twitter’s second quarter earnings call that bitcoin will be an important part of the company’s future. “I think it is hugely important for Twitter and for Twitter shareholders that we continue looking at the space and investing aggressively in it,” he said.
