It’s been a busy year for me and I haven’t always had as much time to blog and work on Alpha Beta as I would have liked. It’s been good busy though — happily, I was promoted. And then a few months ago, I bought a home with my fiance. So good changes, but busy is busy, and sadly that meant less time to read, think, and write.

But things are settling down now, allowing me to devote more time to Alpha Beta blog again. The publication has been doing well — we recently hit 2400 followers! Earlier this year, I wrote about how going from 1500 to 2000 followers was a painful two year slog. But I’m glad I kept at it as a few popular pieces and a few boosted stories recently have helped Alpha Beta jump from 2000 to 2400 followers in just 3 months.

It just goes to show that there are way too many things out of my control, but the one thing I can control is to make sure to keep showing up week after week. And if you’re not a follower of Alpha Beta Blog already, please do subscribe (it’s important to subscribe to the publication itself, not just to me). Thank you!

Anyways, that’s enough of an update. Let’s get to the featured reads:
