Driven by Data: Alpha Blockchain Joins Forces with Gexin and Presence Media

Data is the new oil — that is, if oil was an infinite resource that could be cheaply transmitted at the speed of light, and became more valuable every time it was used. Move aside, oil.

At Alpha Blockchain, we’ve had a data-driven approach from the very start: we build automated tools to gather data from project websites, the wider web, social media, and even the Ethereum blockchain itself. To build on that success, we’ve teamed up with two companies that can help us better exploit the data we’ve been gathering.

Gexin is a global IT services company with a wide range of data-driven services: Point of sale systems, digital signage, security, CRM, and blockchain, to name a few. Their clients include major convenience stores, hotel chains, and banks. We look forward to tapping their experience dealing with the volumes of data those industries generate as we plan on extending our reach further in North American markets.

We’ve also signed on Presence Media, a local company that performs data-driven consulting and prototypes Internet-of-Things hardware. They have a strong background in automated statistical modeling, data collection, and hardware engineering.

With our new friends, we look forward to a different kind of mining than we usually hear about in blockchain!
