Theme Park Tycoon 2 has taken a lot of people by surprise with its incredible system of coaster and scenery building. While the basic mode or shall I say, default snapping is as basic as you can get, spending some robux on a new gamepass might not be the worst option! So without further ado here are some tips and tricks for Theme Park Tycoon 2!

Coaster Building

Coaster building is a rather difficult system in the game, although it's one of the best coaster builders in the world, the coaster building aspect still has some flaws.

Tip 1.

Have a diversity of coasters in your park! Having diversity in coasters is a very important part of the game. You want to have different types of coasters to even our your coaster lineup. My format is quite similar to others, You should always or strive to have a Coaster over the track, a coaster under the track, a coaster that launches, a coaster with inversions. That's the key coasters that you want to have in a park. Now it's your turn to pick a coaster model such as B&M Hyper, or Intamin Mega, or RMC Raptor. You have a lot of choices to make to take your time.

Coaster Appearance

Your coaster's appearance is very important if it has a welcoming color scheme and setting. It usually attracts more of the guest in your park as well as the look of your coaster layout.

Scenery

The scenery is a huge and probably one of the most important parts of Theme park! Amusement parks focus on more rides so theming is not a necessity for them. Here are a lot of tips for scenery.

Tip 2.

Use foliage (trees and bushes). Using trees and bushed help you have a lot of greenery and makes your park look alive and welcoming.

Tip 3.

Using lots of level differences. When using level differences, I’m meaning have your park go 1 block underground level or 1 block higher. (it can be as tall or as high as you want) Having that level difference can really make your park look adventurous and very anticipating.

Tip 4.

Having shops and such in your park is a very great way of making your park look very busy and filled. When I say busy and filled, I mean it seems like you have a lot to do to fill your day up, and a big park of that in the theme park industry is actually shops and food places and even little trails, just to fill in a time or to just relax and look around for a bit.

Tip 5.

Make sure to keep your park clean if your gonna have guest roaming in the park. Guest do not care about keeping your park clean…. at all. If they don't see a trash can then they will throw it on the ground, leaving you to clean up all the mess. If this if the case please keep track cans consistent throughout your park if you plan on having guests roam through your park.

Recreations

Recreations have been a trend in the community where there were recreations everywhere. If you can think of a custom layout then I highly suggest having a recreating ride somewhere in your park thaty fits the theme of your park!

Tip 6.

Use Primitives for that extra detail. Now this one is more for the people with disable collisions gamepass, thats why I said earlier that getting some of the gamepasses if not all is worth it. In this case using primitives are very sceneric in a way that lets your mind roam free to build almost anything.

Tip 7.

Use the Advanced Placement mode (precision Mode) as much as you can if needed. Precision Mode is the best feature to the game by far. It gives you so much freedom in the game now.

Tip 8.

Always try to have Sightlines. My favorite feature that has to made by you is sightlines. Sightlines are points or places where you can see a certain ride or area in the most perfect position and where lighting does it justice.

Tip 9.

Do not use the standard pieces of tracks. Unless you don’t know how to build in custom track mode then try to build on the custom track mode, it makes your coasters look realistic if done right.

Tip 10.

Always try to use your money wisely. I know this is not a usual one but its a very good one, lots of people run out of money easily because they don't know the ways of getting money and without money you wont be building anything. So i suggest to build a money farm from the various YouTube tutorials and follow it directly, once you do that then your set to go!
