Building in Theme Park Tycoon 2 can be a hard task, especially for people just picking up the game. In this article, I’m going to give you a few tips I’ve learned while playing.
Tip 1, Plan out your ides
When you are starting a new project, be it a new park or a coaster, it is always a good idea to plan out your ideas first. I like to draw park and coaster layouts digitally or on a piece of paper. This can help you come up with ideas how a new build can interact with objects built earlier, even before you start.
Tip 2, Take inspiration and recreate.
The best way to become better at building is to take inspiration from other people’s builds or recreate real life attractions. This way without noticing you’ll learn common things about the builds and learn how to implement similar things to your own custom creations.
Tip 3, Don’t forget special effects
Special effects can spice up your creations and make them truly immersive. Things like adding lighting to rides so they look good at night, or adding water effects around the park are often forgotten when building. In my opinion, its the little things that make an experience memorable.
Though tips and tricks can help you build, only practice makes perfect.
