TRADING COMPETITION

As the first trading competition to kickstart Alpha Impact, Plankton Trading Competition will give registered traders exclusive access to our beta platform.

Registration is open on our website from 1 September to 20 September 2021.

4 Competitions: Plankton, Shrimp, Lobster & Whale

There will be 4 types of competitions launched in sequence. Each competition is focused on traders with different values of Assets Under Management (AUM or how much value is currently in your account).

Competitions based on AUM Value:

🔴Plankton— AUM: $100 to $999

⚪Shrimp — AUM: $1,000 to $4,999

⚪Lobster — AUM: $5,000 to 100,000

⚪Whale — AUM: $100,001 above ^

The Plankton trading competition is meant for users with $100-$999 in their trading accounts.

We highly recommend users with higher AUMs participate in future competitions with their correct AUM tier, however, our trading competition will not be accessing a trader’s account balances due to user privacy reasons thus, AUM tiers will not be enforced.

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

Requires a Binance.com account
The trader needs to connect their Binance.com API Key (Read-only) on Alpha Impact to allow the platform to see the trades made. (Learn how to connect your API here)
The trader must make a minimum of 5 trades during the competition period
All trading pairs are qualified as long as the trader SPOT trades on Binance.com

HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED

Winners will be selected based on the following criteria:

Portfolio percentage gain (with the exception of withdrawal and deposit factors) using the Time-weighted rate of return (TWR)

Trading volume counts both buys and sells, across any spot trading pairs. Alpha Impact will select the winners based on portfolio percentage gain from the beginning to the end of the competition period.

Calculation of for Time-weighted rate of return on portfolio gain:

((Final portfolio value at the end of the competition + withdrawal)— (initial portfolio value at the start of the competition + deposit))/(initial portfolio value at the start of the competition + deposit) = Percentage gain (profit) during the competition period

((Vf+W) —(Vi+D)) / (Vi+D) x 100%= % portfolio gain

Winners will be notified:

The winners can be seen on the leaderboard on Alpha Impact and announced on the Alpha Impact official Telegram channel.

Rewards will be distributed 2 weeks after the competition ends. The rewards will be distributed by Alpha Impact and be inclusive of the transfer fee. Winners will need to confirm their Alpha Impact ID and redeem the prize from the Official Alpha Impact Telegram group or email team@alphaimpact.fi

PLANKTON COMPETITION RULES AND REQUIREMENTS:

The competition runs from September 20 to October 4 at 11:00 UTC.
-Winners announced on October 5
-Competitors are required to share read-only API keys with Alpha Impact
-Competition will not begin until we have 22 registrations
-Aimed at traders with $1,000 USD or less in their Binance account
-Prize pool depends on the number of competitors in the contest
-Competitors from China, United States of America, British Virgin Islands, Belarus, Burma, Cote D’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and Zimbabwe may not participate
-Winners will be required to KYC by sharing personal identity details
