Smart Layer and Rootstock Partner to Bring RBTC to AlphaWallet

We are excited to announce Smart Token Labs is partnering with Rootstock, the first Bitcoin sidechain!

This strategic partnership aims to broaden Smart Layer’s accessibility to the Bitcoin blockchain through EVM-compatible smart contracts while bolstering the ecosystem through cutting-edge blockchain infrastructure development.

The partnership will see Rootstock integrated into Smart Layer’s AlphaWallet, the most forked EVM-compatible, non-custodial wallet which enables more smart interactions between the Bitcoin network and the wider blockchain ecosystem. This will allow users to store, send, and receive Rootstock’s BTC-pegged RBTC tokens, as well as interact with smart contracts on the Rootstock platform.
