Namaste,

We have some important updates to the ALPHR tokenomics. As part of our preparation for listing we were required to speak to some Legal Swamis for a legal opinion on the ALPHR token. You would think Swamis are immune from such tedious formalities but apparently not.

Upon review of the ALPHR litepaper the Legal Swamis informed the team that the burn functionality ‘creates the appearance of a security’. $ALPHR is designed to be a Utility token for obvious reasons, we want to sleep safely at night in our humble cave.

The Alphr team however are determined that the fees generated by the protocol are distributed to token holders and users in some manner.

Therefore the following changes have been made to the tokenomics prior to launch and with approval of the Legal Swamis. All future changes will need to be voted on. The litepaper and all our documents have also been updated with the below changes:

75% of the fees generated by the protocol will now be distributed to token holders providing liquidity on Uniswap instead of burned. This is a form of remuneration in exchange for the service they are providing to the protocol (liquidity). This redistribution of protocol fees will be in addition to the $ALPHR tokens LPs will also receive (ah the life of a humble farmer).

25% of the fees will still be sent to the community development fund to ensure funding of future development of the protocol.

In summary the ONLY change is when you provide liquidity to the Uniswap V3 ALPHR-ETH pool you will receive 75% of the Alphr protocol fees in ETH proportionally to your ownership of the Uniswap pool in addition to the usual $ALPHR token rewards. Double asset rewards for the 2 assets you are providing liquidity for…

Put simply to receive the protocol revenue you have to provide something of value to the protocol namely liquidity for the protocol native token.

Here is a reminder of the projected fees if Alphr captures 1–5% of the DEX volume.

Thats all sers, we thank the Legal Swamis for forcing us to innovate in this area. As far as we’re aware this is the first farm of its kind.
