Kraken to Support the Altair Crowdloan on Kusama

Altair, the Kusama parachain built by Centrifuge, will soon be launching a crowdloan for one of the first parachain slots on Kusama. Altair is now happy to announce that Kraken will support the Altair crowdloan. Kraken users will be able to stake their KSM to the Altair slot and receive $AIR tokens in return.

What is Altair?

Altair is spinning real-world assets into Kusama. Kusama, a sister project of Polkadot, is an experimental development environment that is more flexible, faster and cheaper than Polkadot. It’s a place to move fast and innovate before launching on Polkadot. Altair lets users tokenize experimental assets on-chain, such as art NFTs and undiscovered assets and use them as collateral to access financing.

If you have an account on Kraken, then you can securely participate in the crowdloan once it’s launched at https://www.kraken.com/en-gb/learn/parachain-auctions. Launch date TBA soon!
