The students of our Front-end Web Development Program have been learning the fundamentals of HTML and CSS for the past two weeks. At the end of the second week, each of them have to complete a website cloning assignment. In this cloning assignment, our students need to recreate the looks of Apple.com’s home page from scratch. They start with nothing more than some images we provide.

When I review their projects, it always astonishes me how much our students can learn and achieve in just two weeks of part-time studies. Have a look yourself at one of their work.

How can our students learn so much in such little time?

  1. We provide them a day-to-day schedule that translates to about 2 hours of self-study per day, Monday to Saturday.
  2. They also meet up with our coaches and fellow classmates during Office Hours twice a week through video conferencing to ask questions and discuss topics in depth.
  3. If they need to get help outside of Office Hours. They simply raise their questions on our in-house Q&A platform, and our coaches will reply them as soon as possible.

But, most importantly, it’s because they are hard working and dedicated.

We understand that learning a new discipline is hard, so we are here to provide help and encouragement along the way.
