From today on you can buy Bitcoins in Liechtenstein’s post office Post AG in the capital, Vaduz, and in the future, the post plans to offer other altcoins.
To this end, Post AG collaborates with Värdex Suisse, which manages the largest network of crypto ATMs in Switzerland with 26 different branches supporting Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
“After an introductory phase, the offer will be extended to other post offices and the exchange of additional cryptocurrencies… It will then be possible to change Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Ripple (XRP).” follows from the official statement of Post AG.
Post AG was founded in 1999 and consists of nine post offices. 25% of the company’s shares belong to the Swiss Post National Post Office.
According to the representatives of Post AG, the Swiss Post has always been engaged only in “ordinary money exchange”, so the company decided to add support for cryptocurrencies to the existing service.
Earlier, Union Bank AG — a popular bank in Liechtenstein, which offers corporate banking services — announced its intention to become the first fully regulated bank ever to issue its own crypto security tokens.
