Representatives of the American fintech company Ripple, in a conversation with the Japanese edition of Morningstar, confirmed the information that their xCurrent payment system and xVia corporate payment API will be included in the RippleNet single brand. The cross-border payment platform xRapid based on the XRP cryptocurrency will be called “On-Demand Liquidity”.

“Rather than purchasing xCurrent or xVia, customers connect to RippleNet via on-premises or the cloud, and instead of purchasing xRapid, customers use on-demand liquidity.

These are not new products, but a rebrand of existing products. There will be little change and no impact on customers,” the company said.

Ripple claims that in this way she wants to emphasize her mission to create a full-fledged payment network, rather than a set of disparate products.

Corresponding changes have been made to the Ripple website. RippleNet is now touted by the company as a comprehensive corporate solution.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinhouse, meanwhile, during an Off the Chain podcast with Anthony Pompliano, said the network was spreading misinformation about his company.

“Ripple is ten or one hundred times more transparent than anyone else in the cryptocurrency community. Our transparency has made us vulnerable to attack,” he said, adding that 99.9% of XRP trading is not related to Ripple.
