Altcoin News: Samsung Has Released a Toolkit for Developers of Decentralized Applications
South Korean technology giant Samsung has announced the release of a beta version of a toolkit for developers of decentralized applications (SDK) on the blockchain of Ethereum.
According to the company’s press release, the Samsung Blockchain SDK toolkit provides “all the necessary” functions for creating decentralized applications. It also offers a cryptocurrency payment gateway, already with a user interface.
“Samsung Blockchain SDK is available to communicate with external blockchain node providing payment solution. It can reduce costs to build your dapp except in case if you have your own wallet logics already,” Samsung explained in a press release.
Note that the toolkit supports only five devices of the Samsung Galaxy smartphones — S10e, S10, S10 +, S10 5G and Galaxy Fold. It is expected that the final version of the SDK will be released before the end of this year.
Earlier it was reported that Samsung plans to integrate cryptocurrency wallets in the budget models of their smartphones. If this happens, the new SDK is likely to receive support from a significantly larger number of devices. In addition, support for cryptocurrency can be added to the Samsung Pay payment service.
