KuCoin Will Launch Lockup Program, Binance Will Hold a Tournament for Traders

Crypto exchange KuCoin on Thursday announced a program KuCoin LockUP, aimed at meeting the needs of the community and the expansion projects of the ecosystem.

During the specified period, users will be invited to participate in the token lockup program of a particular project with the possibility of receiving rewards in accordance with the campaign rules. The first such campaign will be announced within a week.

KuCoin notes that projects that will be selected to participate in the KuCoin LockUP program will still have to go through the standard listing process to add their tokens for trading on the exchange.

Binance, for its part, has announced on preparations for the launch of trading tournaments on the Binance Futures platform. The event starts on January 3 at 0:00:00 AM (UTC) and will last two weeks. During it, tournaments will be held with daily and weekly closures, and the total prize pool will be $100,000 in BNB tokens.

All users will be able to take part in tournaments, whose accounts will have at least 100 USDT by the time they start. Prizes will be distributed based on the Return on Investment (ROI) and are provided for the 10 most successful traders on all supported contracts.

In December, Binance introduced perpetual Bitcoin Cash cryptocurrency contracts with a maximum leverage limit of 75x.
