First off, if you’ve not already heard, we’re kicking off WWDC week early with an amazing (and never before seen), exclusive pre-release screening of App: The Human Story, on Sunday night. It’s taking place at the Hammer Theatre (super close to WWDC), and all proceeds go to App Camp For Girls — tickets available here. Come join us!

Second, our schedule is now live!! Check it out on our website and the AltConf app. We have a jam packed week ahead—

Monday

We’ll be opening our doors from 9am. Thanks to our awesome sponsor, Steamclock Software, we’ll have Breakfast Burritos for the first 250 of you through the door! Coffee, brought to you by Setapp will also be available! Grab your burrito and coffee, and join us to watch the Keynote at 10am.

At 1pm, we’ve scheduled a Keynote Reaction Panel, followed by the State of the Union stream at 2:30pm.

Then at 5pm, the much-anticipated Accidental Tech Podcast Live will be taking place. This is a ticketed event, doors will open from 4.30pm onwards.

Tuesday — Thursday

Talks are scheduled from 9am–5pm, across 2 tracks. Hero Supporters have priority access to all of these talks, with free ticket holders following, with access first-come, first-served. A number of Community Events (detailed in the schedule) are also being hosted by your peers, in our Community Space.

All talks in our speaker tracks will be recorded by Realm and released after AltConf. Realm will also be live streaming some of the sessions, and holding interviews during the week , their schedule & link to live stream is here — https://news.realm.io/news/live

Directions & Public Transport

San Jose has both light rail and bus options to help transport you through the city and those nearby. The Convention Center station is the closest (marked on the map). Visit http://www.vta.org/ for details on routes.

Join the AltConf line from W. San Carlos St. The line will run down the exterior of the Marriott, right next to the line for WWDC! We’ll have AltConf volunteers on hand to help guide the way.

The location of the AltConf line is marked in red:

Tuesday — Thursday, you’ll be able to access AltConf from the Marriott’s main entrance, 301 South Market Street (the opposite side of the Marriott to Monday’s line).

For those of you who also have WWDC tickets, you can access AltConf directly from the Convention Center (no need to go outside).

-See you all on Monday!
