Our 2017 schedule is on its way - please keep an eye on our website for it, we’re finalising the last few details! It will show details of this year’s broad range of talks, community events hosted by your peers, and importantly where to be when, so you don’t miss out!

We’re looking forward to hosting you all, and with less than 1 week until we open our doors, here are a few more details…

Tickets & Registration

Hero Supporters, you’ll have priority access to all talks, Tuesday — Thursday, with attendance for our free ticket holders first-come first-serve! Monday’s schedule and all events in our community space are first-come first-serve for all attendees (except for Accidental Tech Podcast, which is a ticketed event).

Hero Supporters — you can pick up your badge and swag bag from Registration between the following times:

Monday: 12–5.30pm

Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:30–4:30

Thursday: 9:30–4:30

Free ticket holders don’t need to show your ticket.

We still have tickets available — sign up here!

Directions & Public Transport

We’ll be opening our doors from 9am on Monday 5th (in time for the Keynote streaming that morning). San Jose has both light rail and bus options to help transport you through the city and those nearby. The Convention Center station is the closest (marked on the map above). Visit http://www.vta.org/ for details on routes.

Join the AltConf line from W. San Carlos St. The line will run down the exterior of the Marriott, right next to the line for WWDC! We’ll have AltConf volunteers on hand to help guide the way.

The location of the AltConf line is marked in red:

Tuesday — Thursday, you’ll be able to access AltConf from the Marriott’s main entrance, 301 South Market Street (the opposite side of the Marriott to Monday’s line).

For those of you who also have WWDC tickets, you can access AltConf directly from the Convention Center (no need to go outside).

Exhibitors

We’ll be joined throughout the week by our fantastic sponsors. A huge thanks in advance to all of them for their support in making this year’s AltConf happen! Particular thanks go to IBM, our Platinum Sponsor, who will be at AltConf all week. The IBM team also have workshops taking place nearby, covering a variety of topics including Server Side Swift! Find out more here!

A reminder that our Code of Conduct applies to all attendees, speakers, sponsors & volunteers.
