What they didn’t tell you about help in time of need

Hi, I wanted to let you know that God can’t help you to become who He hasn’t called you to be or do what He hasn’t made you be able to do. The Holy Spirit, our helper, can’t help us do things that we aren’t wired to do.

A lot of us are fishes trying to climb a tree, and we’re praying and fasting hard for the help of God to come and strengthen us to be able to climb the tree, and we aren’t getting any help, and that is because God can only do what He has set in His will for you.

That is why the scripture says we pray but pray amiss. God would never enable you to do something that is not according to His will for you. Instead, He would always point your attention to the direction of His will for you.

Whenever it seems like you’re pushing hard against a wall and it’s not coming down, and you’ve done all you know to do. Stop and seek to understand what God’s heart is; many at times, we’re misaligned. Most times, we need a clearer picture of God’s perspective because from there, everything else flows.
From there, the weapon to wield is revealed to us.

Then we can ask the ‘right questions’ and get the ‘right answers’.

“Why am I in this place?”, “What would God have me do?”. Sometimes we ask the wrong questions and, in turn, seek the wrong answers because we do not see as God sees.

Nothing is more painful than spending years and strength on something only to find out we were never supposed to tread that path, and this is where His mercy and grace comes in.

When you discover yourself, He can restore all that is lost, even the ones you caused because of your disobedience or lack of discernment. It’s never too late to make a U-turn. Stop and seek to know His will and then walk according to that will.

Then you ask, what then do I do when I don’t hear anything from God, and everything isn’t working? In that kind of situation, there would always be something within pushing you in the right direction, whether to stay and keep hitting the wall or take another turn. Look within, and you will always know what to do. All you have to do is trust the voice in your heart and not in your head.

God would never leave you stranded and without direction. He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit of God is saying. God is always talking; you’re the one who isn’t listening. He is always there, no matter how dark.

Seek His will and save yourself years of hurt and pain. Incline your ears to His voice.

Love and light.
