We wanted to provide a resource list of literature, which we term “body of knowledge,” to help in preparation for Solidarity’s first stage, the Societal Convention. This body of knowledge is our resource for informing ourselves and others about the topics we wish to discuss during the Social Convention*.

Additionally, we shall provide in a later post the terms of participation for the Societal Convention. The terms of participation will outline the roles, duties, operation, and outcomes of the Societal Convention. You are more than welcome to provide feedback on the terms and if warranted, we will modify the terms based on your feedback.

1. Host a Societal Convention to establish a Social Code and Decentralized Initiative (“Organizing Documents”) for Solidarity.

“*” = the Social Convention is our version of a Constitutional Convention, but instead of creating a new enabling/organizing documetn for a goverment, we (1) debate and consider solutions to problems in blockchain governance; and then (2) create organziaing documetns for a Network Society. wherein we debate the above topics to hopefully solve existing and potential issues in blockchain governance and create a Network Society.
