I just discovered a mini-series on Netflix called The Barrier. I stayed up way too late because I couldn’t stop watching it.

It is fiction. It is about a dystopian society where the rich and powerful have an abundant life and everyone else is subject to outrageous laws that make life almost unbearable. It’s not a new story idea. The thing about these movies is that they are possible.
