Why, hello there.

What is all this?
In an attempt to make Altertrips a multi-cultured depository of travel stories from around the world, we would like to invite fellow wanderers to send in their writing as guest posts.

What can I submit?
From stories to anecdotes, photo-essays, experiences, hacks and advise, city guides to language lessons, that revolve around travelling, responsible tourism, back-packing, the nomad life, hosting and guiding. We would also be happy to receive restaurant reviews, adventure tour reviews, market reviews, hotel reviews, investigative pieces, travel journalism and everything in between. Limericks and haikus, too.

You can easily submit something unknown and new about a popular destination or an account on a lesser-known destination. We’ll treat both with equal amounts of love!

Anything else to keep in mind before submitting?
Pieces can be anywhere between 500–1500 words with at least one hi-res photo (more the better, since we’re talking travel). Since we’re just starting out, we’d be happy to re-publish articles that may have been published elsewhere before. We’re hoping to make this into a regular publication with regular paid contributors.

We’ll also put your name, a brief bio, links to your social media accounts and blog/website at the bottom of the article.

Send in your links and pieces at hello@altertrips.com.

Oh, and we love pizza, bacon and roaming around aimlessly in Rome. Hope you do too.

Cheers!
