One of the most anticipated things to achieve for us is the implementation of a governance format fit for our community. The most important part of that equation is to work with a governance partner with experience, knowledge and passion for the topic.

Why did we choose Commonwealth?
First of all, we are in love with their UI. It provides a clean and straightforward path for everyone, which to us was a key component when searching for a governance partner. As we strive to educate and incorporate all users, we are aware that not all components of being in DeFi are clear to new users. A clear and clean UI absolutely helps with that.
Another reason for us to join Commonwealth is their experience with high quality projects like Stargate, 1inch and Ethereum. These projects all run a governance program with large amounts of participating users on the Commonwealth platform. This shows a stability and reliability that we strive for at Altitude.
How will Commonwealth be used?
Currently, we are working with Commonwealth to find the best approach for our governance program with the help of their in-house experts. Though it seems rather easy to do, it can become quite complicated and we want to make sure that we have a program in place that is transparent, simple and efficient.
Don’t worry, we’ll keep you in the loop and ask for your advice along the way so that we can build this together.
We won’t just use Commonwealth as a way to discuss proposals and vote on them. We’d like to invite you to discuss specific community related topics there with each other and the team. Discord can be quite overwhelming at times and we believe that Commonwealth provides the perfect environment for topic driven discussions that are relevant to all of us.

The most important one would be collaboration. Though we have been working quite hard in the Altitude team, we are building something for you. To make sure it meets your needs, governance will ensure that you are heard.
On top of that we are implementing a ranking system which will be tracking your activity on Commonwealth in collaboration with one of our other trusted partners, Gateway. This way, you will be able to showcase your knowledge and participation to other community members, ensuring that everyone will know who to speak to when they need help understanding what is happening in Altitude. You will also be able to see who is interested in the specific proposals and topics raised so you can share information with each other and we can grow as a community.
