Altitude’s Public Testnet progressing steadily
As we take a moment to enjoy the view and look at the successful run of Altitude’s public testnet so far, we’re filled with a sense of immense gratitude and pride. It is an exhilarating climb, one that is enabled by the collective efforts of our vibrant community who have been an integral part of this groundbreaking initiative.
The beauty of it all? This is just the beginning…
Altitude aims to eliminate the existing challenges of cross-chain activity, by harnessing LayerZero’s cross-chain communication framework.. With the core concept of providing Secured Guaranteed Finality, we have always envisioned delivering top-notch security features, cost-effective bridging fees, and lightening fast transactions. And the resounding success of our public testnet over the last few weeks has shown us that we are on the right path.
Our Public Testnet provides us with valuable insights that we could have never accessed otherwise. Everyone’s input is vital as it equips the Altitude Development team with the ability to pinpoint issues and implement solutions. Through the public testnet and activity within the community everyone has a role in molding the upcoming mainnet launch. We are thrilled to have such an incredibly active community and it is truly heartening to see so many individuals passionate about Altitude’s mission and future.
Numbers Numbers
We would love to share some stats with you on how it has been going since our public testnet went live on June 1st, 2023.
We have seen almost 43.000 individual users who were all responsible for over 1.100.000 transactions.
629.000 transactions were made on Avalanche Fuji testnet
298.000 transactions on the BNB Chain Testnet
A whopping 150.000 transactions on Metis testnet.
16.000 on Polygon and 10.000 on Fantom.
All this activity has brought in a lot of attention. Our Galxe Campaign, designed to reward you all, witnessed a peak of 17.500 participants. And again, congrats to those who won that desirable Alty Egg.
You guys have been setting our socials ablaze with your chatter, bringing in even more Altitudians into the fold who are now contributing to the future of DeFi.
Discord has grown to 45.700 members and Twitter has grown to almost 47.000 Altitudians.
Have we reached the top yet? Not by a mile.
Testnet is still LIVE!
The public testnet remains open, and we highly encourage everyone to continue testing, probing, and questioning.

Right now, the team has started the process of analyzing all the data and feedback obtained during this testnet phase, which will play a pivotal role in optimizing our system before moving on to mainnet.
The final stages of preparation before launch are underway and we’re working round the clock, refining the system, and infusing all the valuable inputs from our users.
