If you’re new to Salesforce Ecosystem, Trailhead is probably the best way to get to dive into that Ecosystem, Here are some Tips & best practices to considerate to benefit the most from this platform:

It is not about how many badges you’ve won, but it’s about how much knowledge you’ve got.

A lot of new learners try to get new badges and attend new ranks on Trailhead, But they should keep mind that they are just a result that attests you’ve accumulated some level of knowledge. So Learners should have the curiosity to understand more and organize all the previous knowledge with the new one. Even if you could finish a trail, module, project, Or a super badge, but you still have some questions, misconceptions, or wonders, try looking for answers.

Don’t Make your learning Journey as spaghetti; Just Plan It.

First, what do you want to learn? Admin stuff, Developer stuff, Analytics, Sales Cloud…. After that, make a plan by choosing the trails and modules that correspond to your goals, and if you can, ask experienced people in that area to get the right path towards mastering your subject. For example: if you’re new to Trailhead take a trailhead trail to get familiar with the platform. If you want to be an admin, try the Admin beginner trail, admin Intermediate, and admin advanced trails. If you want to be a developer with a background of web development, try Developer Beginner, Intermediate and advanced trails.

Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.

Trailhead is one of the greatest Platforms that I’ve met, and to complete your learning journey you should be an active user on Trailblazer community salesforce answers and Trailblazer community groups . (I will explain more How valuable are these two platforms in next articles)

Imagine you have a salesforce expert with you, who explains to you hard stuff and guide you through your learning journey, And Imagine if you can teach other newcomers. Well, these two platforms help you achieve that.

In salesforce Answers you can ask any question you want (Problems on trailhead challenges, real business case .. ). And you can also help other trailblazers on their problems, and in that way, you’ll get in-depth knowledge of the concepts you’ve learned on Trailhead.

In Trailblazer community groups, you can assist in conferences, webinars, and workshops from around the world, and through that, you can meet nice people and experts from all over the world.

Learning is a Journey that never ends.

At the end of that article, the beginning is always hard, even if you struggle with those new stuff, keep learning everyday even if you walk only on step.

If you put one brick together in a day , at the end of week you’ll get a wall , and at the end of month you’ll have a house and at the end of a year you’ll get a village.
