We are thrilled to announce that Alto has been chosen as one of the 20 finalists to pitch in the upcoming ICO Race competition!

ICO Race is a high-profile contest for blockchain projects with the biggest prize pool to-date. The grand winner will take home a total of US$600,000. But that’s not all: A listing on one of the top three exchanges in the world awaits the project that manages to convince the judges.

Our very own Gabby Dizon is going to represent Alto on stage to convince the international jury and audience of how Alto is envisioning to shape the item-first economy by pioneering interoperable game item tokenization.

“We’re honored to be selected as a finalist at the ICO Race competition. It’s a validation on all the work we’ve put into Alto and the power of blockchain to disrupt the game industry. We’re looking forward to seeing all the contestants there” — Gabby Dizon, Chairman & Co-Founder of Alto.io.

The competition will take place in the lovely city of Lugano, Switzerland, with the semi-finals on the 6th and the grand final on 7th of June, 2018.

The event is organized by ICO Engine (Eidoo) and Fin Lantern and sponsored by big names in the cryptosphere, such as Cryptolab, The Cryptonomist, ICOBooster, Cryptopolis, CryptoCompare, or Bitmax to name a few.

Alto is a self-sustaining ecosystem for game developers, item creators and players, built around the blockchain’s item-first economy. Through the Alto platform, interoperable cryptoitems (blockchain-based game items) are minted, used, and sold across multiple games and users. Alto was established in February 2018 by game development veterans in China and Southeast Asia.
