Akron, Central Michigan, and Miami have all thrown their hats in the ring for a current prep sophomore tight end in Michigan that’s gotten a respectable list of early offers this month. Brennan Parachek, listed at 6'6, 245 lbs., now holds offers from six offers from schools across four different leagues.
Parachek, as a TE, was used a ton for his pass-catching skills, and was able to pick up yards after contact with his ideal size and strength over just about any defensive back he had to deal with. It looks like DHS uses Parachek in all sorts of ways, excelled in a lot of ways (especially as a receiver) and has yet to sniff his peak at that position. He seems like an ideal tight end prospect, and might even be a pipedream for MAC coaches in a few months.
