Ask the Expert continues with discussion on social isolation

Ask the Expert, series of conversations with Alzheimer’s Association staff and healthcare practitioners, is coming to your Facebook account this May.

We’re bringing doctors and leaders in their respective fields to a weekly Facebook Live chat where you can interact and ask questions about current topics critical to providing quality care.

Ask the Expert continues on May 13 at 3 p.m. (note the special time) with a discussion about Social Isolation and Older Adults. Doris Phildor, health systems director for the Alzheimer’s Association, welcomes Dr. Sara Czaja, Ph.D. of Weill Cornell Medicine to talk about the impact of isolation on people living with dementia and their caregivers. Dr. Czaja is the director for the Center on Aging and Behavioral Research at Weill Cornell Medicine.

Viewers can send in their questions during the program using Facebook Live’s chat feature.
