Les amours d’Anaïs

Valeria Bruni Tedeschi aka Emilie & Anaïs Demoustier aka Anaïs in Anaïs in Love

Anaïs (Anaïs Demoustier) is only 30 years old but she runs, runs, and always runs everywhere. Constantly late on everything aka paying the rent, writing the thesis, and more, the young woman tries to make sure that everything fits in her life, living in the present without thinking too much about the future.

In this, she should be helped by her boyfriend Raoul (Christophe Montenez), towards whom she is perpetually late and for whom, perhaps, she no longer has great feelings, even though she is pregnant with him. It will be the story that began with an elderly publisher introducing her to Emilie (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi), the companion of the man with whom a particular communication channel is immediately generated.

French romantic comedy with some drama that has some interesting ideas, even if it is not perfect in style and form. One of the problems of the plot lies in what should be its strength, that is, in dealing with many different themes in a short and not very incisive space of time, thus losing several macro concepts along the way. The merit of keeping everything together goes to the two leading actresses, both very good, namely the French Anaïs Demoustier and the Italian Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, capable of managing the process that is certainly not entirely simple. But what do they manage to hold together? Simple, just the topics covered…
