Emm Stone aka Bella Baxer in Poor Things

Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe) has a face full of scars and many other little big problems in his body, but he overcomes this with a deep knowledge of science and in particular surgery.

And, all things considered, Baxter is right to be excited, given that he has somehow created Bella (Emma Stone), a splendid girl who Baxer, who found her dead with a fetus still alive inside her, has always treated like a daughter.

After transplanting the baby’s brain into her head, Bella returned to life, and after some time she has now learned to walk, talk and do much more.

And Bella has chosen to decide for herself what to do with her existence: first to go on an adventure, to discover the world around her.

Drama from a certain romantic point of view which, especially in the first and last parts, can make you laugh with comedic tones like few other products seen recently.

Regarding the product present, I want to start in a clear and transparent way with a concept that I firmly believe after having seen it: it is the most important film of the last 10 years, in my memory obviously, and now I will try to explain the (many) reasons why.

Let’s start from the reason that connects all the other reasons, that is, the dichotomy
