The Marvels (2023), Captain Marvel 2 (2019), or Ms. Marvel season 2 (2022), in the end it’s the same, it’s the latest Marvel film directed by Nia DaCosta starring Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau ( Teyonah Parris) released in Italian cinemas the 8th November.

The film is proposed as a sort of action comedy with several sci-fi elements. The plot picks up right where the first season of the series linked to the character of Kamala Khan ends. Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, is now facing the unexpected consequences of her victory against the Kree. These unexpected events force her to carry the weight of a destabilized universe on her shoulders. During a mission, her powers merge with those of Kamala Khan, known as Ms. Marvel, and Captain Monica Rambeau, now an astronaut on the SABRE orbital station.

Initially, the situation is chaotic, but this unlikely trio is forced to work together to save the entire cosmos. The Kree people, led by Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton), are trying to revive their planet due to the events caused by Captain Marvel. They manage to recover the quantum bracelet in order to complete the mission but at the same time unleash chaos in the whole universe. It is an ensemble film where the three heroines must prevent the destruction of the universe, also thanks to the help of the cat…
