Van Gogh’s APU specification up to 4 cores and 8 threads, 12 PCIe 3.0 channels
AMD’s next-generation APU “Van Gogh” is still up to four-core and eight-thread design, which can provide up to 12 PCIe 3.0 channels and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and four video ports, etc.
In addition, of the 12 PCIe 3.0 channels, 2 of them will be multiplexed with SATA channels. Van Gogh APU will provide AV1 decoding support , similar to Navi 2x and NVIDIA Ampere GPU.
According to the previously leaked roadmap, AMD is expected to release this series of processors at the end of this year or early next year, which will be equipped with Navi2 core display, adopt 7nm process, and support LPDDR5.
