What is gallium nitride?

Charging experience

The author tested the USB-C1 output power through a professional charging tester. The omthing 65W GaN charger has a built-in intelligent power management chip, uses PD3.0 fast charging, and supports QC2.0, QC3.0, QC4.0, PPS, Apple2. Various fast charging protocols such as 4A, DCP, AFC, FCP, SCP, etc., tested by the instrument show that the C1 interface supports a maximum output of 63W, which is a bit different from the official 65W. The actual effect is still satisfactory and there is no false standard.

Next, test the USB-C2 output power. Through the tester, you can see that the maximum power of the C2 interface can reach 33W, which is larger than the official announcement. The output power of the USB-A interface is slightly smaller than the power of the above two interfaces. The measured data is 25W. At present, the Apple iPhone 11 series has supported charging to about 24W, so it is faster than using the original 18W PD charger.

At present, I have an Apple mobile phone and a Huawei mobile phone. I used the charging head to charge the two mobile phones separately. The power of the Apple mobile phone can reach 10W when charging, and the charging power of the Huawei mobile phone can be stable at 3.7 when the charging power reaches 91%. Constant current charging around W, while the current output is stable, the curve fluctuation is small, there is no current instability, and the stable current can ensure the service life of the mobile phone battery.
