Have you ever wanted to send a text but instead of writing it in boring old SF UI Text (that’s Apple’s default font btw) you wanted to write it in the shiny gold letters from Game of Thrones? or in the magical and whimsical lettering of Harry Potter? or maybe you wanted to write something in a font made entirely of 3D balloons or a whole font made out of poomojis 💩? No? Well now you can! ….wait.
With our new app that just hit the App Store, you can create “fontmojis” or font-based stickers using the world’s largest collection of 3D and color fonts ever brought to mobile. Whether you want something inspired by your favorite movie, TV show, sports team, game (yes, we have Fortnite) or just a whacky font made entirely of fire, ice, hearts, whatever… we got you covered.
How’s it work?
Fontmojis can be shared anywhere. So you can use them to make any conversation, tweet, Instagram, Facebook post or SnapChat DM more interesting. Creating and sharing a fontmoji is extremely simple:
- Use the categories to find the font that expresses or enhances what you are trying to say.
- Type out your message.
- Hit one of the quick share buttons to send your message to the major messaging and social apps or simply copy the fontmoji and share it anywhere.
So what’s the deal with these fonts?
Fontmoji is home to a collection of fonts that take advantage of new font technology called OpenType-SVG that allows font designers to create this type of high quality color and 3D fonts that haven’t been possible until recently.
We have scoured the globe to find the most amazing fonts available using this new technology and curated a ‘first of it’s kind collection’ of fonts for our users. Some of the best font designers in the world have contributed fonts to this collection.
We had font-designers from all over the world contribute fonts to our World cup collection that features fonts for all of the major teams participating in the tournament.
