Academics

Being in Theta means that academics is very important to you. Theta has many guidelines regarding GPA’s and study hours that are meant to help the girls get the best grades they can. One thing Theta has is a GPA requirement that they must meet. This is like most other chapters. When the GPA is not met, that person will be put onto academic probation and will not be able to participate in a leadership position. Also, meetings will be set up with an academic mentor to help in any way possible. Theta also has a great study room and gives incentive points for students who use the house to study. Last night, Theta had a mandatory study night that lasted three hours in Fraser Hall. It works as a way to get the whole chapter together, but in a way that is benefiting each person’s academics.
