Initiation Week

This week is one of the most important and memorable weeks for both new and old members. This is the week that Theta celebrates the incoming members and formally accepts them into Theta. There are many different important days and rituals involved in this week. Although these rituals can not be told, it is very special to Thetas. On Monday, all members went to the house for the normal Monday meeting. We learned about all current things happening in Theta, and also things that are coming up. After meeting, we had an even called Loyalty where we pledged our loyalty to Theta and handed in our new member pins. On Thursday, we had our weekly new member module. During this, we learned about the seniors in Theta and their experiences in this chapter. They also told us some valuable advice. Friday we have an event called cookie shine. This is tonight so new members are unsure of what will go on this day. Finally, Saturday is the day we have all been waiting for, Initiation. We will finally be a part of the Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta. We will have a full day of celebrating and hanging out with our new sisters.
