Scholarships

Many people have stated that one reason they did not join Greek life is because of costs, but many people are unaware of the amount of scholarships available to help pay for these costs. Most of the scholarships given out can be accessed through BeGreek.org. Every Monday night, the opportunity to get a scholarship is mentioned to the new and returning members, but when I asked new members how many had looked at them or filled one out, it was a very low number. I myself, also have not made the attempt to fill one out. I do not know if this is because they do not feel the need to get a scholarship, or just have not had time to do it, but the number of people not taking this money surprises me.
