Ambo is joining MyCrypto!

We know that it has been a quiet couple months from us at Ambo, but we are super excited to share the news that we are joining the team at MyCrypto!

Ambo was built with the goal of allowing anybody to invest in tokens without the technical expertise currently required. This vision soon transformed into empowering anybody to take advantage of the awesome decentralized protocols like 0x, Request Network and Augur. Almost a year later, we are insanely proud of what we have accomplished and also very excited about where we are headed.

From talking to the team at MyCrypto, it was clear that we had similar visions. MyCrypto, initially MEW, became popular because of their forward thinking wallet mentality. In an age where wallets can do so much more than just help users manage funds, we wanted to work with industry pioneers on developing a wallet for the masses.

This means a few different things for Ambo. A vision shift is in order. My initial announcement describing Ambo here described us as exclusively as a wallet and that isn’t true anymore. Ambo’s overarching goal and vision has become, ‘making web3 accessible,’ and one of the many paths to that goal is to develop the ‘easiest to use wallet.’ With MyCrypto’s expertise in the space, we expect to ship better products at a faster rate than before.

Our team is proud of the work that we’ve accomplished over the past year and we couldn’t be more thrilled to begin this new chapter of Ambo under MyCrypto.
