A few facts:

  1. Six months after leaving DC, Jared Kushner’s investment fund, Affinity Partners, received $2 billion from a Saudi investment fund led by the Saudi crown prince. Before giving Kushner’s fund $2 billion, the Saudis had doubts about his inexperience in investment management.
  2. Donald Trump had more than 300 classified documents (over 700 pages) stored at Mar-A-Lago illegally.
  3. Trump is demanding those documents be returned to him.

A few observations:

  1. No one invests $2 billion without the expectation of something in return. What can Kushner deliver that other — more seasoned investment fund managers — can’t?
  2. Why is Donald Trump demanding those documents be returned? He’s seemingly less worried about the consequences of having those documents and more concerned about what will happen to him if he doesn’t have those documents. See what I’m getting at here?

Donald Trump has a history of providing highly classified American intel to foreign governments.
