pebbles that sparkle
amongst beautiful glossed stones
all are unique gems.

While sitting in my yard looking out at the many stones and pebbles that blanket the ground, I experienced a moment of epiphany when one of the pebbles caught my eye. As I stared in amazement admiring the sparkle of this pebble, it occurred to me that we are all pebbles in this world.

We have different shapes, shades, and sizes, but we are all individual particles interconnected by our shared experiences. Perhaps some pebbles might sparkle more than others, but regardless of that, we are all unique gems, each beautifully precious in our own way.

Thank you for reading and thank you Louise-Pier for creating the American Haiku platform where our words can flow freely.
