A Haiku and Two Tanka

painting of keening window, a haiku, two tanka, pluviofile
Painting by Monoreena

“I like it when it rains hard. It sounds like white noise every where, which is like silence, but not empty” — Mark Haddon

that azure obscured,
twining ardour, my whole day
mind fugitive fly

ears to air’s melody,
call of mizzle in mind’s porch,
eyes to soul’s window,
time to return what is yours
by you, for you always — rain.

your mist-y presence
heals, pitter patter-y night,
self-soliloquy,
create visions that were mine,
by you, for you always-rain.

“ I always like walking in the rain, so no one can see me crying” — Charlie Chaplin

Pluviophile:One who loves rain. it’s cold and chilly and nobody wants rain , probably except me.
I want it for that music, melody and healing. Weird,I know!

Thank you Pierre Trudel Jenny Justice Tapan Avasthi Heidi Franklin and American Haiku for publishing my mind.

Thank you for stopping by.
