American Bridge is ready for 2024
We’ve been tracking the Florida Man and other GOP candidates for over a year
This week, disgraced former President Donald Trump announced his next losing presidential bid amid the fallout of an embarrassing midterm election. His hand-picked candidates in races across the country — from Kari Lake in Arizona, to Kristina Karamo in Michigan, to Dr. Oz in Pennsylvania — went down in flames.
We already know that American Bridge’s presidential team has a proven track record of successfully holding Donald Trump and GOP candidates accountable. In 2020, American Bridge’s Trump Research Book was the organization’s most utilized tool — providing a comprehensive resource for reporters, allies, and members of the general public to access information on Trump’s litany of scandals, shady business deals, and dangerous policies.
We’ve been keeping tabs on Trump and preparing for the Republican presidential mess. Since 2020, American Bridge has:
- Hired researchers to track candidates and build the case against 2024 GOP aspirants.
- Launched Bridge to Democracy — a crucial program that held election deniers running for critical election administration positions across the country accountable.
- Filed a complaint for the Federal Election Commission to investigate potential campaign finance violations by the Trump campaign.
Oh, and we launched a tip line for anyone inside of Mar-a-Lago to share incendiary quotes, insulting actions, or criminal behavior from Trump and his team.
