Governor Greg Gianforte vetoed funding for the expansion of a veterans home and is ignoring local fishers’ pleas to address habitat issues impacting fish populations and their livelihoods. The state legislature also overrode Gianforte’s veto of a bill that allows everyday citizens to review government documents.

GOP frontrunner Mark Robinson hosted a right-wing extremist group on the front lawn of his taxpayer-funded mansion. Robinson also caught heat for helping spread the conspiracy theory that one of the Parkland shooting survivors was a paid actor. Robinson’s Republican opponent Mark Walker had his own rough week, as a new report highlights that although he has been campaigning on increasing law enforcement funding, he took numerous votes while in Congress that cut funding for local police departments.
