Kentucky gubernatorial GOP nominee and Attorney General Daniel Cameron won’t speak out about KKK flyers found around the state, and abortion is now the “a-word” according to the North Carolina GOP frontrunner Mark Robinson — welcome to this week’s state of the states.

To no one’s surprise, Daniel Cameron is having another terrible week on the campaign trail. He finally pulled out of Freedom Fest after being bullied by fellow Republican Thomas Massie and a bombshell report detailing the event host’s racist history. This was made worse by the fact that Cameron REFUSED to condemn the host’s racist rhetoric, which included using the n-word and saying “if you want to conquer an African nation, send white women and pot.” Cameron has also refused to say a word about KKK flyers popping up across Kentucky.

GOP candidate Jay Ashcroft called people who want their student loans forgiven “snowflakes,” despite the fact his fellow GOP candidates, including Jeff Landry (LA), Mark Robinson (NC), Tate Reeves (MS), and Greg Gianforte (MT), had PPP loans forgiven.

In another sign that Gov. Tate Reeves is on thin ice with voters in Mississippi, a group affiliated with the DC-based RGA dumped $500,000 into his campaign efforts. It’s no wonder Mississippians are fed up with Reeves as he prioritized rewarding his donors with political appointments, all while essential services, like hospitals, are shutting their doors for good.

It wouldn’t be a normal week without Mark Robinson saying something ridiculous about abortion — this time, the GOP frontrunner, who has said he wants to ban all abortions without exceptions and has called the medical procedure “murder,” is now referring to abortion as the “a-word.” This comes a week after Robinson was put on the defense for encouraging people to read quotes from Hitler, which comes as no surprise given he’s “repeatedly minimized Nazi atrocities” and “flirted with Holocaust denialism.”
