[Poem] Golden Plains

“Trees On Rolling Plains” — Photo taken by Bill Tiepelman

My God, my God, can I be with You now?
I don’t care how,
I just wish to be with You now.

Take me up, Lord, away from this place,
And reveal to me Heaven’s golden plains.
Where evil is absent and good is ever present,
Where there’re no strains and love reigns.

Take me up, Lord, away from this place,
So I may always savor Your lovely grace.
Our Father, who art in Heaven,
In Your Holy Name, I ask You:

Can I be with You now?
