Twitter Issues Ultimatum to Hate Groups

Twitter has issued an ultimatum for users who are affiliated with “organizations that use or promote violence against civilians to further their causes.”

Users who fail to cut their ties to said groups will be suspended, according to Twitter’s new policy.

The new rules will come into effect on December 18.

The ultimatum comes about a week after Twitter banned Baked Alaska, a prominent alt-lite personality, and de-verified alt-right leaders Richard Spencer and Tommy Robinson among others.
