Donor Spotlight: CampBrain

The CampBrain Team at Canoe Heads for Kids in 2018

Since 2018, CampBrain has been committed to making a difference in the lives of young people as a sponsor of Canoe Heads for Kids, but their commitment to Amici does not stop there.

If you have participated in Canoe Heads, you have likely enjoyed a much-deserved visit to one of CampBrain’s hydration stations, staffed by a dedicated team of “Brainer” volunteers. You also may have noticed the CampBrain Canoe Heads team as they exude their campy enthusiasm.

“There are many great things to say about Canoe Heads! But, one of the under-rated aspects is the incredible team building opportunity for our team,” says Rob Carmichael, CEO and Co-Owner of CampBrain. “Spending the day portaging, canoeing and celebrating at the end is a fantastic way for our team to spend valuable time together and build those internal relationships.”

The CampBrain team is full of seasoned campers and those who understand the value of a summer spent outdoors, the opportunity to try new things and the friendships forged at camp. The team knows firsthand how meaningful the gift of camp really is.

When asked why CampBrain chooses to give to Amici, Rob said “We appreciate the long-term nature of Amici’s commitment to their campers and families. Having campers return to their camps each summer is where the magic and personal growth happen. We are proud to play a small role in helping Amici deliver on their mission.”

Amici is so grateful for CampBrain’s dedication to uplifting the camp community and ensuring that all children have the opportunity to attend camp. Throughout the pandemic, CampBrain’s support never faltered, continuing to spread the magic of camp during not one but two of Amici’s Virtual Canoe Heads for Kids and inviting Amici to join their staff team at “Company Huddles”.

CampBrain and Amici truly are better together!
